1st DG Funding Window for 2024/25

Invitation by the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA) for stakeholders to apply for discretionary grants for the 2024/25 financial year.

Stakeholders are encouraged to apply for discretionary grants for the 2024/25 financial year. The grants aim to address national and sector needs, focusing on skills development programs through partnerships, engineering candidacy programs, work-integrated learning, cooperative enterprise development, black leadership development, retrenchment assistance, green skills, and entrepreneurship training. Preference is given to applications from various stakeholder groups, including levy-paying employers, NGOs, cooperatives, and educational institutions. Compliance with specific documentation and application procedures through the National Skills Development Management System is mandatory, with a submission window from December 20, 2023, to February 29, 2024​.
