Development of occupational qualifications

Development of occupational qualifications with Chamber Committees and other stakeholders, guided by the Sector Skills Plan priorities, towards registration on the Occupational Sub-Framework (OQSF) of the NQF.

  4. Occupational Qualifications: These are qualifications that have a structured learning component and a structured workplace experience component which leads to a qualification registered by South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) on the Occupational Qualifications Sub-Framework (OQSF).
  5. Compliance: The qualifications comply with the regulations set by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
